SOCKS ON TWO CIRCULAR NEEDLES -
(Level: Advanced Beginner) Don't like working with 4 needles?
Learn to make socks using two circular needles.
Teacher: Kerry Downs
Class fee: $40 and includes the yarn and pattern
You will need 2 24" size 3 circular needles
Saturdays: May 3, 10 and 17 9-10am
LEARN TO KNIT - Learn this fun
and popular craft. In this class you will knit a hat, learning to cast
on, knit, purl, measure gauge, read a pattern, decrease and some finishing.
Teacher: Sharon Piersall
Class fee: $45 and includes yarn and needles
Tuesdays, May 6, 13 and 20 6-7pm
CORRECTING MISTAKES - (Level:
Advanced Beginner) Learn to fix your knitting. Drop a stitch,
knit in the wrong direction, stuck and don't know what to do next? In
this class you will gain the confidence to correct a mistake and keep going.
Teacher: Nancy Hopf
Class fee: $25
You will need a crochet hook, a size 2 or 3 circular needle, worsted weight
yarn, size 8 needles and the swatches assigned at registration .
Thursday: June 5 6-8pm
KNITTING WITH BEADS
- (Level: Advanced Beginner) Beads can add a very special touch to your
knitting, It's fun and easy to do. Learn two different methods
of adding beads to your knitting.
Teacher: Nancy Hopf
Class fee: $20
You will need a tightly twisted DK weight yarn, size 5
knitting needles, size 9 steel crochet hook, needle and thread.
Tuesday, June 24 6pm-7:30pm
Class/Workshop Policy Pre registration and a deposit is required for all classes. Class fees are non-refundable, and missed classes cannot be made up. Class fees will be refunded ONLY if the class is canceled by Spin A Yarn. Class materials must be purchased at Spin A Yarn. Classes and workshops are limited in size. Classes or workshops not meeting the minimum size will be canceled. Classes fill rapidly. Please register early to avoid disappointment. Call 722-3318 or stop by to register.
